A celebration in word and song of the power and beauty of Lake Superior, greatest of the great Great Lakes.  Featuring the Blue Canvas Orchestra and Singers, Dr. Third Eye, and some of Chautauqua’s most requested songs:  "Autumn Fancy," "Wreck of the Manistee," and "Mud Month."  Take It to the Lake, a mostly musical revue of life on the northern peninsula of Lake Superior, was first commissioned by Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua and performed in 1986.  This delightful collection of poetry, readings, and music honors life along the shores of Lake Superior and its diverse history.
